PANEL DISCUSSION (Approximately 2:00PM)

Following the Fly-In Ceremony, there will be a panel discussion to allow audience members to hear from veterans who have served with the CH-46. This will be held on the museum floor and open to the
public. Judge Patrick Donovan is currently scheduled to be on the panel along with an ADCA BGen (sel) Heckl, CH-46 MOS USMC General Officer and Bruce Cader from the Marine
Ground Combat Element. MajGen "Hondo" Fox USMC (Ret) will be the moderator. After introductions, each panel member will make remarks for approximately 10 minutes, sharing stories and
personal reflections about the CH-46. Following these remarks, the moderator will open the panel to questions from the floor. Overall time for the panel is envisioned to be about an hour.

PARKING

The Udvar-Hazy Center Public Parking is $15.
We tried to get this fee waived but were unsuccessful. There are 2000available spaces and
it is recommended that you car pool if possible and
plan to arrive early. I received this additional information from the Visitor Services, Smithsonian Institution-National Air and Space Museum:

Parking at a nearby shopping center and carpooling over has worked well for groups in the past and creates more spaces throughout the day.
Also, if public transportation is an option, the Fairfax Connector 983 bus runs to our Museum every 20 minutes and serves the
Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station, Reston Town Center Transit Station, Herndon-Monroe Park and Ride and Dulles Airport. You can find more
information here:
http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/connector/routes/983.htm

Parking Refunds: Refunds are available if you are just dropping off or picking up passengers. All drivers will be required to pay the $15 parking fee
and will receive a time stamped parking ticket. After passenger(s) are dropped off at the Museum entrance, the driver may return to the
parking gate house and receive a full refund upon exit. This must occur within 30 minutes of the time stamped on the ticket. Visitors
returning to the parking gate house after the 30 minute drop off period will not be eligible for a parking refund.

Visitors with Disabilities: The Udvar-Hazy Center offers accommodation for visitors with disabilities, including:

Continue to pass the word…we are fast approaching 400 crew and family members who plan to attend.

Paul Sniffen and HMM-263 have a meeting room reserved at the Hampton Inn for gathering
before & after functions ….. Adult beverages ...Donations will be accepted.
