Nancy Edwards has advised us that her husband, Martin Lynn Edwards passed away on November 4, 2006 at the VA Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas - from complications due to Cancer. "Ed" served as a gunner with the HMM-364 Purple Foxes in 1969 & 1970. You may send your condolences to:

Nancy Edwards
Route 1, Boc 460 H
Western Grove, AR 72685

Ed was better known on this (Pop A Smoke) website as "Hotguns", for his humor and brilliant writing skills. He was a Plank-Owner of the Tomball Takeover / USMC Texas Rotorheads. If you search under "Tomball" in the Popasmoke Photo Archive you will find several pictures of Ed. In spite of his failing health, he had the gift to always make you smile or laugh from way down deep inside. We are proud to have called him our friend and miss him terribly.

Rest in Peace, my friend - you deserve it.
