Leonard and PFC. Cecil F. Rogers were close friends as depicted
by this photograph taken just prior to moving to Hill 881S.  On
19 January 1968 they were again in close proximity of each other
and the mortar/rocket round which killed Leonard also wounded
Cecil F. Rogers who was medically evacuated that same day.

PFC. Newton's name is currently aboard the Stardust spacecraft, launched Feb. 7, 1999, which visited Comet Wild-2 (pronounced Vildt-2) in 2004.  Stardust spacecraft is now returning to planet earth for recovery on 15 January 2006.  You may read more on this project here.
